Project Description

The Language Flagship is a national initiative to change the way Americans learn languages through a groundbreaking approach to language education for students from kindergarten through college. The initiative comprises of 27 Flagship Centers at 22 institutions of higher education across the United States.

The Language Flagship Technology Innovation Center (LFTIC) at the University of Hawaii was established through a grant from the U.S. Department of Defense. The primary purpose of the LFTIC is to conceive, design, adapt, improve, deliver and test effective means to blend technology into existing Language Flagship Programs.
