Get the Point! (Bobbie Guerra)

My other picture got cut off so I sent it again. I enjoyed this project but felt I ran out of time. This would have been more effective with sunlight and shadows but I liked the composition.

Bobbie, The color areas work really well with the black/white ones. The effect is soft, very atmospheric. One could make a whole series of images changing the lighting (time of day, weather, etc) using a single photo. I may try this with my students. I appreciate the composition, too. Claudia

I really like the photo. The colorization is very subtle and effective... it looks very natural. Nice contrast between the flow of the natural imagery and the straight lines of the building. Sandy

When I first looked at the pic, it had not all loaded and I really didn't care for it, but after it all loaded and I finally got to see the whole pic, I must admit that I really like it. The big green in front make the pic. Good work. Larry V.

The subtle effects of the color are wonderful. Your ideas on the use of light and adding shadow could evolve into a nice unit. Good job!

Bobbie, I'm waving my hands in the air... nice work! I agree with you, good composition (love the angle), and as others have mentioned the choice of colors work together to create a soft, but strong mood/feel.

Bobbie.. You've done a fine job with this image! The angles of composition as well as the colorizing combine to create a striking effect. Great effort! :) larryC
