Ian is a Strategy and Business Transformation specialist. He has over 20 years’ experience working with more than 150 organisations in 12 countries. Ian is highly skilled in revitalizing complex organizations. He helps clarify strategy and then aligns people, process, and technology performance. Projects have included substantial global commercial projects as well as major IT initiatives (e.g.SAP, ERP, data migration).

Ian’s projects deliver multi-million dollar benefits in terms of operational efficiency, profit, and market reach. He facilitates at Board level and works hands on with Executives and internal teams. Ian works with design thinking, innovation methods and human-centered design to build internal capability.

A selection of Ian’s major commercial clients has included: Barclaycard, Boots Group, Boots Healthcare International, BP, Capita Group, Geodis, Tesco, Tarmac, Royal Doulton and Xerox.

In the public sector, Ian has delivered projects for the UK Ministry of Defence (Aeronautics), London Metropolitan Police, the OECD (Paris), Surrey County Council (Adult Services), the Australian Government and the United Nations.

As well as assisting large corporations, Ian has worked with and lectured to entrepreneurial businesses in London and Cambridge. He is the creator of a range of business transformation tools used in Europe, the USA and Asia. Ian’s background in Psychology and Statistical Analysis brings a strong blend of commercial, analytical and organisational expertise.

Ian grew up in Melbourne, Australia, and has lived in Indonesia and the UK for 20 years. He travels a lot but calls Melbourne his home base these days.
